For Lainey’s red carpet appearance, OUMA created a custom gown inspired by the striking colors and layered formations of China’s Danxia landscape. Known for its dramatic bands of crimson and rose-toned rock, the natural wonder became the starting point for a design that celebrates movement, texture, and light.

At the OUMA atelier in Vancouver, silk tulle was hand-dyed in gradients of hot pink and deep crimson to echo the landscape’s rich color transitions. The gown features an airy A-line silhouette with a softly draped bodice wrapped in layers of silk tulle and pleated mesh, creating depth and dimension. Voluminous balloon sleeves and a red beaded collar add sculptural drama, while the high-low hemline allows the skirt to move fluidly with every step.

This custom red carpet dress reflects OUMA’s atelier philosophy—combining craftsmanship, thoughtful design, and inspiration from the natural world to create pieces that feel both expressive and timeless.
